I’m Ginny, which is short for Virginia, the state where I’ve spent most of my life, and that’s become part of my identity. I’m currently a student-athlete at the University of Richmond, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Visual and Media Arts.
As far as my experience goes, I have worked in marketing for a Washington, D.C.-based digital tech start-up called Buzz, created a salad dressing brand from the ground up, and conducted a wide range of qualitative and quantitative marketing research.
As Track and Field team captain, I spend my mornings running around in circles and creating a positive, driven atmosphere for my teammates. I strive to lead by example and recognize that my actions set the tone for my team. I believe in the importance of integrity, hard work communication, and accountability.
Alongside my academics, work experience, and athletics, I have other things that make me an interesting human being. I am a self-proclaimed soup connoisseur and always love trying different varieties. I write all the time. I have kept multiple journals and written an entry every day since 2016. I love being near a large body of water or in tall mountains that are so beautiful they make me feel something. Lastly, I have a passion for skiing and snowboarding. My life goal is to have a successful career in marketing and eventually become a ski instructor.
Lastly, I find joy in building meaningful connections with people and discovering their unique perspectives on life. In other words, I love to chat and can talk to a wall.
